Stayed here for Xmas holiday. We loved the beautiful location surrounded by snow. The staff was friendly and accommodating, but that's where the positive aspects end. The small gym and hot tub were okay, nothing special.
The room was tiny and outdated, it felt like staying in a deserted cabin. The bathroom was worn and had a strange odor.

My mini suite with the balacony, location of the hotel, the breakfast, helpful nice staff and the fact that this family business has been since 15th century and still well maintained.
I wish that I could turn on the heating in my suite but it will not operate till mid of Oct since it is for all the hotel. This was not really needed at the time I stayed at the hotel and staff provided me with little heating device that operates on electricity.

I loved the vintage feel of this hotel, and the cozy corners with the fireplace that were perfect for chatting. The staff was wonderful, making our stay even more enjoyable. We also had a delicious dinner at the restaurant, with lovely views overlooking a beautiful area of Sweden.
Nothing, all was good.

The room was quite comfortable with a large bath including a jacuzzi tube. The bed was reasonably comfortable. We had a small deck opening to a park-like area and the beautiful lake beyond. There is an excellent gourmet restaurant here for dinner and the breakfast is plentiful and quite good. The staff is quite pleasant. The property is quaint and has apparently been in the family for several generations. Here you have the quaintness of a Swedish country inn that is reasonably upgraded and renovated. Overall a very good stay and we highly recommend it for all from those w/ children to honeymooners and mature travelers. There were also a couple of business groups at the property.
All good.

the room was beautifully decorated and comfortable. We also appreciated having access to wireless internet and the friendly staff. the location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area and we enjoyed the wonderful view from our room.
We were not impressed by the breakfast. Although there was a good selection of food, we found it to be rather limited and lacking in quality.

A very comfortable hotel with friendly staff, excellent beds and a cosy interior. Dinner, though not cheap, was delicious. Service was good and speedy. A good range of food for breakfast set us up for the day. Best of all was the overall design and appearance of the place. It just felt lovely to be there.

It was the most beautiful hotel we've found in Sweden. Very nice and friendly staff, beautiful rooms, very homely atmosphere. We stayed 3 nights and wish we could stay more.

The pool area was smaller than expected, but it didn't impact our overall experience. The change room had a nice sauna, adding to the relaxation factor. The staff was wonderful and made us feel welcome. We had a private cabin room, which added a touch of luxury to our stay. The gym, spa treatments, and beautiful lake were added bonuses. The food at the very good restaurant was a highlight, and the well-trained staff made our dining experience enjoyable. The hotel's design and overall ambience were impressive, with cozy corners, a cozy fireplace, and floor-to-ceiling windows that seamlessly blended with the picturesque surroundings.
Some rooms were in need of renovation with wallpaper peeling off and upholstery in poor condition. The attention to detail was lacking in some areas, and the printed documents looked outdated.

Terrific location. Very nice hotel, friendly staff. Good breakfast, dinner only fair, but there are other restaurants within walking distance that are very good. Highly recommended.
